Early last year, I did quite a bit of design, video, and PR work for a charter school in Utah.
At one point, I decided that I wanted to use a color photo of Abraham Lincoln for a design. After I discovered that there were no high-quality, legal options, I decided to create my own, based on this public-domain image:
The result would be different if I were to do it today, but I am still happy with my work back then:
Now I feel that I’ve fixed a flaw in the internet: its prior lack of a usable, high-resolution color photo of Abraham Lincoln. Yay!
