Here's some of what I've written recently:

I’ve always actually enjoyed reading other people’s resumes. Perhaps that’s a little weird, but I think it’s a valuable way to learn about their experience, to find out what they think is important and relevant from their work history, and to get ideas about what I should (or shouldn’t) do with my own resume.

With that in mind, here’s my most recent resume (pdf). Feel free to pick it apart, give me feedback, rip off my ideas (within reason), or pass it along to anyone who might hire me.

David, your resume looks great. One word of comment, the middle section where you describe what you do is a bit dense and intimidating at first (and second) glance. If you break it up w/ small bullet points, it might make it more readable. Just a suggestion (I am working on my resume for interviews), other than that it looks GREAT!
