If you're passionate about your subject, that goes a long way toward becoming a great blogger or preacher.

When I started blogging, the focus was much more on my life and experiences. That's a great, easy way to begin (after all, what topic does anyone know better than themselves?), and it's what I'd recommend.

As you develop a style and discover what you like writing about, you can consider branching out and blogging about your hobbies or profession. Or you might decide to keep it personal.

The great thing about blogging is that it's truly yours: you can develop it (or not) however you choose.

I have been a preacher. I remember not whether I was any good or bad-just that I survived the experience (Please reference whoever said, "that which does not kill us makes us stronger"). Might I have the potential to be a blogger? What should one start blogging about?
